Railways have started a special train for the convenience of passengers traveling between Delhi and Mumbai during Holi. This train will run a total of seven times from March 8 to March 29. The train from Delhi will leave at 1:05 pm on Wednesday and Saturday and will reach Mumbai Central at 1:30 pm the next day. At the same time, the same train from Mumbai to Delhi will run seven times from March 7 to March 28. It will leave Mumbai Central every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30 am and reach Delhi at 10:00 am the next day. This train will stop at many stations including Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Udhna, Vadodara, Sabarmati, Mahesana, Palanpur, Aburod, Ajmer, Jaipur and Alwar. The train will have a total of 16 coaches including four seconds AC, ten third AC and two powercar coaches.

Delhi Sarai-Sarmati Superfast Special Train

Railways have also provided special train facility for passengers going from Delhi to Sabarmati. This train will run thrice on 8 and 9 March. It will leave from Delhi Sarai at 8:10 am and reach Sabarmati at 11:20 pm. The stop of this train will be at Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer, Aburod and Palanpur stations. The train will have a total of 22 coaches, including 20 second sleeping and two guards.

Bareilly-Sarmati Superfast Special Train

The Bareilly-Sabarmati Superfast Special Train for passengers going from Uttar Pradesh to Gujarat will be operated on 8 March. This train will leave Bareilly at 8:30 am and reach Sabarmati at 6:00 am the next day. This train will stop at important stations like Kasganj, Hathras Road, Mathura, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Aburod and Palanpur. The train will have a total of 20 coaches, including 18 second sleeping and two guards.

Jodhpur-Bandra Terminus Special Train

Railways have also run Holi special train for passengers traveling between Rajasthan and Mumbai. The train running between Bhagat’s Kothi to Bandra Terminus will operate four times from March 8 to March 29. From Bhagat’s Kothi, it will leave every Saturday at 11:30 am and reach Bandra Terminus at 7:25 am the next day. Similarly, this train from Bandra Terminus to Bhagat’s Kothi will run four times from 9 March to 30 March. It will leave every Sunday at 10:30 am and reach Bhagat’s Kothi at 4:30 am the next day. The major stops of this train include Luni, Pali Marwar, Marwar Junction, Falna, Abuode, Palanpur, Mahesana, Sabarmati and Vadodara. The train will have a total of 22 coaches, including one second AC, six third AC, two third AC economy, seven second sleeping, four general category and two powercare coaches.
