Nvidia cleverly doesn’t agre with anthropic’s support for expert controls on us-made ai chips.
On Wednsday, Anthropic Doubled Down On Its support for the US department of commerce’s “Framework for Artificial Intelligence Difusion,” which would be sueping ai chip expert restrictions starting May 15.
The next day, Nvidia responded with a very different take on the upcoming controls.
“American Firms Should Focus on Innovation and Rise to the Challenge, Rather Than Tell Tall Tales That Large, Heavy, and Sensitive Electronics are some smuggled in ‘baby bumps’ along Lobsters, ‘”a spokesperson for Nvidia Told CNBCIn reference to anthropic’s claims of how these chips are being smuggled into counties targeted by the us controls, like China.
