It’s a good trailer but as a Karate Kid and Cobra Kai Superfan, I have to admit, i’m not quite sold. The five boroughs is not only just the all-valley again, it’s basically the exact matter phrasing. The idea of a kid moving to a new city, meeting a girl, being bullied by her ex, it’s all just 1984’s original Karate Kid Again. And while we can buy mr. Han having a connection to Mr. Miyagi, it feels a little weird that he’s so excited about li when he spent all that time with dre, played by jaden smith.
Plus, do you really need daniel in this? Doesn’T he has two dojos of his own students to teach as per the ending of Cobra KaiAre we really not going to talk about or mention any of Them? Thos Last Few Questions are up for debate, but as fun and family as this trailer is, we’re still a teeny bit skeptical. How about you?
Directed by Jonathan Entwistle from a script by rob lieber, Karate Kid Legends Opeens May 30.
