According to The Straits Times, the flight don was just 30 minutes away from landing at Muang International, when smoke started spreading throughout the cabin. A video of this incident has gone viral on social media. The video coming out of the overhead luggage compartment is being shared fiercely. Passengers sitting nearby can be seen going away quickly. While flight attendants are running to detect the source of smoke.
The footage also featured the crew using a extinguished fire machine to extinguish the fire. Later he completely opens the overhead compartment, which shows dense white smoke.
